Vastu Purush Mandala having 45 Devtas and Asuras.
Bhujag – the Immunity: The energy field which develops East of Soma in the North direction is of Bhujag. The word ‘Bhujag’ originated after ‘Poorva Meemansa’ era. Before that Bhujag had been worshipped as a ‘Snake’ in Vedic shlokas.
In the 12th sukta of 3rd chapter of Atharvaveda, he has been invoked as a protector of treasures hidden inside the earth. He basically works for ‘Asuras’ (demons). However, at certain places in Vedic mantras, he has been invoked as Varun’s Paash along with Mitra.
In Vedas, he has been mentioned as the preserver of life-saving medicines and, as the lord of treasures of Nadir (Patal lok). He has also been revered as the primary dev of sexuality. In Yoga and Tantra granths, Kundalini has been associated with him as a divine power (devi shakti).
When the power of Bhujag is in balance in a building, it ensures health and smooth flow of money is maintained.
In this way, we got to know how 45 devtas move life, manifest life and how they contribute towards what is happening or not happening in our life.
